Our Chatterbus provides a reliable, friendly service that’s there when it’s needed. It is a unique not-for-profit service, managed by local people for the local community and is operated by the East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership.

CHANGES DUE TO COVID-19

Cobham Chatterbus is back on the road

We are delighted to be able to tell you that Cobham’s local bus service the Chatterbus is back on the road as of Monday 13th July 2020.With the lifting of some of the government restrictions we are able to restore the full service, six days a week Monday to Saturday.

There will be the same great bus, the same timetable, the same friendly driver team and the same reliable, friendly service.

You will see a few changes as you get on the bus that we’ve made to look after our staff and passengers properly. Our sponsor Surrey County Council has put in place some rules to “Keep Surrey Safe” – please watch this brief video from Cobham’s Surrey County Councillor Mary Lewis for an update.

We’re looking forward to seeing you again – don’t forget your facemask please!

The Chatterbus East-West service between Cobham and Weybridge (plus Fetcham and Leatherhead on Saturdays) plugs a significant gap in the local transport system and complements existing bus services.
