Service Update:
C1/C2 Chatterbus Services to Weybridge during September/October
There are numerous roadworks planned between September and the end of October 2025 which will affect the weekday C1 and Saturday C2 Chatterbus routes to Brooklands and Weybridge. The latest published roadworks can be found on the Surrey County Council Roadworks map website linked here.
The C1/C2 Chatterbus will normally reach Brooklands but may be delayed.
Roadworks between Brooklands and Weybridge have a more significant impact, and may result in the Chatterbus being delayed, or cancelled at short notice if they have a major impact on the timetable for the rest of the day.
To check the current location of the bus please visit the Chatterbus Tracker here.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these roadworks, which are out of our control.

Your community-run bus service for the Cobham area
Chatterbus provides a reliable, friendly service that’s there when it’s needed. It is a unique not-for-profit service, managed by local people for the local community and is operated by the East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership under contract to Chatterbus CIO (charity no. 1173907).
Chatterbus C1, C2 & C3 routes
The Chatterbus East-West service between Cobham and Weybridge (plus Fetcham and Leatherhead on Saturdays) plugs a significant gap in the local transport system and complements other local bus services.

Our Local Sponsors
Chatterbus could not run without the help of our four Principle Sponsors – Elmbridge Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Chelsea FC Foundation, Walton Charity and PA Housing. We are also very grateful to our fantastic Sponsors Co-op, Levanter Developments, Grosvenor Billinghurst, NFU Mutual, Specsavers, South West Railway and Waitrose.
And we owe a great debt to all the local organisations and bodies whose donations help us to run this important service – Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust, Cobham and Downside Residents Association, Cobham Chamber of Commerce, Cobham Garden Club, St Andrew’s Church – Cobham, St Mary’s Church – Stoke D’Abernon, Stoke D’Abernon Residents Association.
