Service Update:
Cobham High Street Reopened –
Tue 20 Jan 2026
Due to falling masonry in Cobham High Street the road had been closed earlier. This was impacting the C1 and C3 Services.
Fortunately, the Fire service dealt with the incident quickly and the High St has been reopened.
The Chatterbus services are returning to normal but may be delayed due to the impact of traffic congestion.

Chatterbus selected to be part of Waitrose Cobham Community Matters in January.
We’re delighted that Waitrose have selected the Chatterbus to be part of Waitrose Cobham Community Matters initiative.

This initiative allows customers to donate their green tokens received when shopping at Waitrose, Cobham, to vote for 3 nominated charitable causes to receive a share of the Waitrose fund. The charity with the most votes receives £1,500, while the second and third receive £1,000 and £500 respectively.
If you’re shopping at the store, please take a moment to collect your green tokens and consider placing them in the Chatterbus box. Thank you.

Your community-run bus service for the Cobham area
Chatterbus provides a reliable, friendly service that’s there when it’s needed. It is a unique not-for-profit service, managed by local people for the local community and is operated by the East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership under contract to Chatterbus CIO (charity no. 1173907).
Chatterbus C1, C2 & C3 routes
The Chatterbus East-West service between Cobham and Weybridge (plus Fetcham and Leatherhead on Saturdays) plugs a significant gap in the local transport system and complements other local bus services.
